Matching Challenge Grant

The Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger would like to share a bit of good news with all our friends and supporters.
One of our generous individual donors gave us a matching challenge grant of $50,000. We are truly excited, as this funding is exactly what we need to continue the phenomenal work that we have been doing in central Brooklyn and in the areas hit hardest by hurricane Sandy. Last month, we provided over 265,000 meals to needy families, which accounts for over 150,000 additional meals compared to last year at the same time. Our social services have increased in scope by 111% compared to last year.
This challenge grant will continue to meet the need of families that seek help daily from the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger.  Every dollar donated will be matched by this private donor up to $50,000.  This is a great opportunity to double your investment in our community and make a difference in the lives to our children and seniors.
