The #BrooklynGives campaign aimed to raise $1 million for the borough’s nonprofits during “Giving Tuesday.” The day of giving brought together Brooklyn’s nonprofits, including the Bed-Stuy Campaign Against Hunger. Founder Dr. Melony Samuels told News 12 that the donations will help feed families in need through April.
