Paid, 12-week training for young adults (18–24) to launch a career in logistics.
The Campaign Against Hunger (TCAH) is proud to offer the Warehouse Workforce Program (WWP), an intensive training initiative designed to connect at-risk and low-income youth with in-demand jobs in the logistics sector.
Part of the TCAH Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), the WWP targets young adults aged 18–24 who are seeking to enter the workforce. This program shapes the community’s next generation of leaders by providing the skills needed to secure competitive employment.
Program Highlights
The 12-week intensive program engages participants in comprehensive training and support, all while working across TCAH’s 28,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space in Brooklyn and Far Rockaway, Queens:
📦 Warehouse Training & Skills
Management Skills: Participants learn essential skills like warehouse management, organization, inventory control, documentation, and time management.
Practical Experience: Participants maneuver through real-world operations, covering food distribution, packing, palletizing, and waste management.
Cyber Pantry: Learning the fundamental components of our cyber pantry, managing orders, and working with drivers in ensuring food access is brought to those unable to physically access it.

OUTCOMES
By the end of the program, participants are prepared to transition into in-demand warehouse and logistics roles within TCAH, packing facilities, or other careers of interest—or pursue entrepreneurship.
