Benefits Access

Helping to address our community’s needs beyond hunger, through expanded social services offerings, including health insurance support, tax preparation, and fitness classes.

Our ‘community’s approach to caring’ provides services that reflect the full scope of need among the clients we serve. Families in our community and beyond are often affected by more than just hunger, and our goal is to ensure that our program offerings extend beyond emergency food access. In addition to our pantry access and nutrition education courses, we offer the following social services:

  • Referrals to employment training
  • Summer camp for low-income families
  • Financial workshops for families
  • Dental, health, and vision check-ups by TCAH healthcare partners
  • SNAP screenings
  • HEAP screenings and registration
  • Enrollment for publicly supported health insurance
  • Tax preparation and filing
