Harvest Heroes

Please join us for delicious small bites and a sparkling toast on October 18, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m under the stars at our beautiful Saratoga Farm. This year we proudly honor three community heroes:

Keith Carr, Program Manager, City Harvest

Dordy Jourdain, Executive Director Bedford-Stuyvesant, YMCA

Stephanie Hill Wilchfort, President and CEO, Brooklyn Children’s Museum

In the weeks before Thanksgiving and Christmas, the amount of people we serve increases by 30%. This year, we expect the demand to be even greater. We provide our pantry goers not only their usual provision but also, a fresh frozen turkey, produce, ingredients for corn bread and other holiday trimmings so that everyone can prepare a healthy Thanksgiving meal.

BSCAH needs to raise $50,000 to cover these additional costs of $1.25 per meal. We invite you to be a Harvest Hero and help us reach our goal.
